The ESF Stars for Skills Awards are back to celebrate the achievements of learners across the West Midlands who have excelled or made significant progress in their training and personal development through the region's ESF programme. The efforts of the training providers who have helped the learners along their journey will also be recognised.
The Stars for Skills awards will be held on 10th November 2010 between 12-2pm at The Hippodrome, Birmingham.
Satnam Rana, BBC Midlands Today presenter, will be hosting the awards and West Bromwich born, Dave Heeley, will give a motivational speech at the event. Dave, who is known as 'Blind Dave' because of his physical disability, ran seven marathons, across seven continents in seven days.
The search for stars has started with entry forms available on the West Midlands Leaders Board website . The closing date for entries is the 10th September 2010.
