‘Older Workers’ Workshop: ESF mid-programme conference: 17th November
As part of its contribution to this workshop session, TAEN - The Age and Employment Network - will be looking at some of the effective practices in terms of supporting older workers which have been identified and used by projects during the first half of the national programme.
And suggesting how these can inform the delivery and outcomes of projects in the second half of the programme.
Their input will include an overview of the new 50+ WORKS online good practice guide developed by TAEN as part of its own national technical assistance project in support of the national programme's targets and activities in respect of older workers and jobseekers.
Specifically aimed at generalist advisers in welfare-to-work providers and their subcontractors, the 50+ WORKS guide has much wider application - including ESF and other projects and programmes, which have older jobseekers amongst the customers/participants they are working with. The guide contains a wealth of information and useful resources which can help improve outcomes and success.
Keith Frost (Project Manager) and Hana Konopaskova (Project Officer) of TAEN's 'age management' national technical assistance project will present and participate in the session. The session takes place between 14:45 and 15:45.
