House of Lords seminar on future of ESF published

December 2011 saw the House of Lords European Union Committee host a high level seminar on ESF 2014-2020, featuring debate between the Commission, DWP and a host of key stakeholders.

Designed to inform the forthcoming negotiations on ESF’s future, inputs to the discussion (all available for download) included a detailed summary of the proposals from the Commission, a summary from ESF-Works’ Policy Editor John Bell on key developments in ESF since the Lords enquiry was published in 2010, and wide range of questions and debate over the vital issues.

ESF-Works will be following developments in the evolving discussion over ESF’s future during the coming months, meanwhile the Lord’s Committee welcomes views as the process evolves.
